Kevin is a former Police Sergeant and has held directorships and partnerships within credit management companies, debt collection agencies and private investigation businesses for over 25 years.
Mel Bishop - Partner
Melanie is a founding member of Meridian Commercial and has enjoyed a long career starting out in the Finance sector. The partnership was formed in 1989 and has progressed soundly year by year to the dynamic and successful business it is today. Mel has held Senior positions in a wide range of businesses with a her main focus on the financial aspects; from the formulation of strategic and long-term business plans to supervising general accounting activity and budgeting. Mel is an active networker and is the founding member of "Surrey Women's Business Group".
Graham Bishop - Partner
Graham has a background of running companies and dealing closely with clients and the public alike. He is a Partner in Meridian Commercial, where his mediation skills which have been gathered throughout his working career benefit our clients by achieving the best results for them, as well as retaining their current clients, cementing relations for future business.
Simon Hughes - Operations Manager
Simon is Manager at Town & Country Legal Services LLP and holds extensive knowledge in the business and associated industries. A BSc Honours degree in Business Management (focusing on Strategy/Operations and Law) coupled with over three years of direct management experience equip him well to perform effectively in his role. Combining the philosophy of continuous improvement with his aim for maximum operational efficiency, Simon ensures that high productivity and results are always achieved, yielding the best outcome for clients and the business alike.
Outside of work Simon enjoys playing Golf around Surrey, Rugby (at local club Old Whitgiftian's), as well as reading general business literature and journals.
Ruhul Crorie - Commercial Account Manager
Ruhul is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University, and has come to us from The China Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing where he taught English as a Foreign Language. Ruhul has strong organisational skills as well as experience in leading small teams. Ruhul has also worked in a sales background.
Dan Bishop - Account Manager
Daniel attended Caterham School. He joined in 2011 as an Account Manager and is responsible for the credit control/collections at Meridian Commercial. Daniel has extensive experience in both private & consumer debt and is able to approach client situations in a professional & dilligent manner. He is responsible for handling a large client portfolio using his negotiation skills to reach a professional solution.
Justyn Hughes - Consultant
Justyn graduated from the University of Southampton in 2011 with a BA Honours Degree in History and joined the Meridian Commercial team in 2012. His previous experience includes advising and working closely with clients in order for them to achieve their goals. As an Account Manager he operates on the frontline, implementing his innovative skills and driven approach to deliver the results desired by our clients. He believes that a careful analysis of available information is vital to the formation of suitable recovery strategies.
Denise Bennett - Consultant
Denise previously worked alongside Kevin Bishop - Town and Country Legal Service in 2010 on a short contract. She rejoined the team in November 2012 as Senior Consultant; Excited and honoured to be working with the team again. With 9 years experience in the financial sector, Denise offers her expertise to Meridian Commercial ensuring a professional, innovative and reliable approach to Client Retention Debt Prevention.
Ashwin Choolun - Consultant
Ashwin graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2009 with a BA Honours Degree in Politics & Sociology joining Meridian Commercial in 2012, after a period of working for a large International events company in the City of London. As an Account Manager, Ashwin is responsible for the management of sales & marketing within the Meridian Commercial business, as well as the building and maintenance of client relationships. With over 3 years of extensive experience within this field, Ashwin identifies potential business opportunities to persuade new clients to place business with the company. He is an active networker and enjoys everyday challenges.
